Jeffrey T. Guterman, Ph.D. (left) is Associate Professor in the Counseling Department of the Adrian Dominican School of Education at Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida. He has extensive experience in solution-focused counseling and presented many workshops on this topic. He is author of numerous publications, including the 2006 best-selling book, Mastering the Art of Solution-Focused Counseling published by the American Counseling Association. Clayton V. Martin, M.S. (right) is a counselor at the Henderson Mental Health Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He has written extensively on solution-focused counseling and presented workshops on various topics in counseling.

Workshop Description
Solution-focused counseling is a comprehensive model that emphasizes clients' strengths, resources, and effective coping skills to bring about effective change. This session offers an opportunity to learn solution-focused principles and techniques for clients with eating disorders. Numerous case examples illustrate solution-focused applications to eating disorders. The program includes instructional exercises aimed at helping attendees learn the material.
Objectives
1. Identify and review the main principles of solution-focused counseling.
2. Identify and review solution-focused counseling conceptualizations for eating disorders.
3. Identify and review advanced solution-focused counseling techniques for eating disorders.
4. Identify and review multicultural considerations when using solution-focused counseling for clients with eating disorders.
