
JEFFREY GUTERMAN is a counselor, educator, and author. He joined the Counseling Department in the Adrian Dominican School of Education at Barry University in 2004. He has also taught at the New York Institute of Technology and Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Guterman holds a B.A. in psychology from Boston University, and an M.S. in counseling psychology, an M.S. in family therapy, and a Ph.D. in family therapy from Nova Southeastern University. He is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida and a Qualified Supervisor for Marriage and Family Therapists and Mental Health Counselors in Florida. He was associate editor of the Journal of Mental Health Counseling from 1997 to 2000. He is author of over 125 publications. Dr. Guterman has 28 years of experience in the field of counseling. He presents training and workshops on various counseling topics.
